Ajman, July 10 / WAM / The Municipality and Planning Department in Ajman signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Tianying Middle East Environmental Services to strengthen mutual cooperation aimed at adopting the latest environmental solution technologies in the Emirate of Ajman.

The MoU was signed on behalf of the department by Eng. Khalid Moeen Al Hosani, Executive Director of the Public Health and Environment Sector, and on behalf of Tianying Company by H.E. Jiang Li, General Manager of the company, in the presence of Eng. Abdullah Salem Al Zaabi, CEO and Board Member of the company, along with several officials from both parties.

Eng. Khalid Al Hosani emphasized that the department is committed to expanding current and future collaboration with leading companies in the environmental field and is keen on launching and adopting positive projects that have a vital impact on all aspects of life. He pointed out that efforts are ongoing to ensure sustainability and protect the health and safety of everyone.

For his part, H.E. Jiang Li stated that the Emirate of Ajman is a model modern city that maintains both aesthetic appeal and quality work. He described it as an integrated icon of civilization and excellence across various fields, including waste management and utilization, by developing comprehensive frameworks and implementing continuous projects and initiatives.

The memorandum outlines the framework for joint efforts in managing the waste generated in Ajman, including the possibility of diverting waste from landfills through proper disposal methods, strengthening coordination for waste-to-energy projects, and the collection of solid waste.
