Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, the Ajman Municipality and Planning Department is organizing the sixth edition of the Ajman International Environment Conference. The event will take place on the 28th and 29th of March at the Sheikh Zayed Center for Conferences and Exhibitions at Ajman University, under the theme “Towards the Year 2071: Shaping the Future of Environmental Sustainability.”

Engineer Khalid Moein Al Hosani, Executive Director of the Public Health and Environment Sector, stated that the conference will host a distinguished group of researchers, academics, institutions involved in environmental policy-making, national organizations concerned with environmental issues, as well as environmental specialists from the energy sector, the oil and gas industry, manufacturing, municipalities, consulting and contracting firms, environmental agencies, and the private sector. University graduates holding bachelor’s degrees or higher are also expected to participate.
