Ajman, July 10 / WAM / The Department of Municipality and Planning in Ajman signed a memorandum of understanding with Tianyi Middle East Environmental Services Company to strengthen joint cooperation aimed at adopting the latest environmental solutions technologies in the Emirate of Ajman.

The memorandum was signed on behalf of the department by Engineer Khaled Maeen Al Hosani, Executive Director of the Public Health and Environment Sector at the Municipality Department, and on behalf of Tianyi Company by Mr. Jiang Li, CEO of the company, in the presence of Engineer Abdullah Salem Al Zaabi, CEO and Board Member of the company, along with several officials from both parties.

Engineer Khaled Al Hosani confirmed that the department is dedicated to expanding current and future collaborations with leading companies in the environmental field and is committed to launching and adopting positive projects that have a significant impact on all aspects of life. He pointed out that efforts are ongoing to ensure sustainability and maintain the health and safety of everyone.

For his part, Mr. Jiang Li explained that the Emirate of Ajman is an ideal model for a modern city that maintains its aesthetic appearance and high-quality work. It represents a comprehensive icon for an emirate of civilization and excellence in various fields, including waste management, benefiting from it, and establishing comprehensive frameworks for its management through the implementation of continuous projects and initiatives.

The memorandum outlines the framework for joint efforts in managing waste produced in the Emirate of Ajman and the possibility of diverting it from landfills through safe disposal methods. It also documents the coordination required to implement waste-to-energy projects and solid waste collection.
