Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, a member of the Supreme Council and the Ruler of Ajman, the sixth edition of the Ajman International Environmental Conference kicks off on Monday. Organized by the Department of Municipality and Planning in Ajman, the conference spans two days with the theme 'Future of Environmental Sustainability,' taking place at the Sheikh Zayed Conference and Exhibition Centre - Ajman University Exhibition Center. The conference features extensive local and international participation, addressing various environmental issues and their importance.
The conference aims to achieve several goals, including supporting sustainable development in the United Arab Emirates, establishing a roadmap for achieving carbon neutrality, and bringing together scientists, professionals, and policymakers from diverse international and national organizations, as well as academic institutions, to exchange knowledge on building a smart and sustainable environment.
