Hamid Bin Rashid International Sustainability Award

Through the award, we seek to provide a global platform for the exchange of ideas and experiences regarding environmental protection and the promotion of sustainable development.

The Hamid bin Rashid International Award for Sustainability is a relatively new award, launched at the Fifth Ajman International Environment Conference in March 2018 under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman. The aim of the award is to honor and encourage contributions to sustainability, whether through research in the field or individuals who have made significant contributions. Additionally, the award is granted to institutions that establish and implement sustainability principles, becoming exemplary models for other organizations.

The Specific Conditions for Application

The research should encompass any of the journals related to integrated natural resource management and urban environmental pollution control. It should also involve the application of the concept of sustainable development socially, economically, and environmentally, as well as innovation in the field of green technology to serve communities.
The research should be practical with a clear impact in supporting sustainable urban development and preserving public health and the environment.
It should include solutions and alternatives for the optimal use of natural resources and the utilization of human activities' waste by achieving concepts of conservation, recycling, and reuse in urban areas.
Priority is given to submitted research that has been published in scientific journals.
The research should not have received any other awards.
The research should have applications that are suitable for the regional environment of the Arab region and the climate nature of the Middle East.
The extent of benefit from the research results and their applicability.
The research must be in the English language.
The electronic registration form must be filled out on the award's website.
