Ajman, March 5 / WAM / Sheikh Rashid bin Hamid Al Nuaimi, Head of the Department of Municipality and Planning in Ajman, and His Excellency Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Head of the Global Green Economy Organization, witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding regarding environmental sustainability, during the seventh Ajman International Environment Conference. The agreement was signed between the Department of Municipality and Planning and the Global Green Economy Organization.

The memorandum was signed by His Excellency Abdul Rahman Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Director General of the Department of Municipality and Planning in Ajman, and His Excellency Engineer Waleed Salman, Vice President of the Global Green Economy Organization.

The memorandum aims to facilitate the Department's membership in the organization as part of the public sector platform, develop and implement environmentally friendly policies and regulations, as well as carry out joint initiatives, workshops, seminars, and events to promote sustainability and the green economy. It also focuses on providing training programs to enhance the skills of stakeholders in the green economy, exchanging success stories and best practices, executing campaigns and educational programs, and facilitating the exchange of knowledge and experiences between the two parties.
