Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, a member of the Supreme Council and the Ruler of Ajman, Ajman International Environment Conference will be held on March 2-3, 2016. The conference is organized by the Municipality and Planning Department in Ajman under the theme "Smart Cities and Green Innovation." Mr. Yehia Ibrahim Ahmed, the Director-General of the department, emphasized the need for effective and sustainable approaches in thinking, working, and living globally. The conference will feature keynote speakers, experts, and thought leaders in the fields of green architecture, environmental technology, and sustainability. The experiences and deep knowledge shared by these experts will inspire attendees and encourage active participation in live discussions. The conference aims to address the latest developments and upcoming challenges related to environmental issues, promoting innovative solutions for sustainability. Additionally, young minds from accredited universities in the UAE will present research papers during a brainstorming session, discussing innovative solutions in various sustainability domains. The conference program will cover multiple tracks, including the development of smart cities, smart policy data, green businesses, carbon footprint, green infrastructure, sustainable energy, ecological significance, waste treatment technologies, land revitalization, risk management, green transportation, environmental health, green information technology, and sustainable agriculture.
